We were given the assignment of painting something with the topic "sticky situation", I thought of situations that aren't the best to be in and i thought of actual objects that are sticky. It came down to either a spiderweb or candy apples. I drew sketches of both and decided that the apples would look better. I found references on the computer that mostly looked like the ones i wanted to paint, and showed the most value and lighting. I sketched my own apples and added my own light source and values. I did not like how my painting came out because I ran out of red paint for the sticky coating around the apples and could never get the same color so now it looks like normal apples with shadows.
