Value Portrait

I began this portrait by tracing the picture of the face ontracing paper. then i traced it on another piece of paper with lighting textures. We had a light pointed at the persons face. Then took a picture so that the picture had different lighting. The values in the portrait helps it look more realistic than without. I belive that I achevied all values because it looks light in some areas and really dark in others. I think my pictures craftsmenship could have been better. I ran out of time at the end and it did not look as good as I would have hoped. I ran into a problem with the right side of the face because it was so dark I could just barly see the differance between his face and neck and ear.
